**ROLE SUMMARY**

Pfizer’s Prostate Cancer portfolio spans several products, including XTANDI, ORGOVYX and TALZENNA+XTANDI, and an exciting prostate pipeline. The US Prostate Cancer (PC) Thought Leader Engagement Lead (TLEL) will play a critical role as part of the US PC franchise by developing and executing an overarching Thought Leader engagement plan for key national and regional thought leaders in the field of Prostate Cancer. This leader will engage with external stakeholders in the Prostate Cancer field, with a primary responsibility for Oncology thought leaders and a secondary responsibility for Urology thought leaders. This individual will coordinate relationships end-to-end (research to end-of-lifecycle) and work as part of a broader cross-functional Pfizer team as well as two alliance teams (with Astellas and Sumitomo Pharma Americas). They will work very closely with a US PC TLEL counterpart with a primary focus on Urology and secondary focus on Oncology.

Focusing on National, Emerging, and certain Community Thought Leaders, the person will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships across a wide variety of key Prostate Cancer thought leaders, engaging Thought Leaders via 1:1 engagements at major congresses and national / regional conferences to identify mutual points of interest between the Thought Leader and Pfizer US Oncology Commercial, gathering insights on Prostate Cancer Oncology Thought Leader beliefs and preferences to inform development and execution of HCP commercial strategies / tactics, nominating Thought Leaders for Advisory Boards, Speaker Programs, or other programming requested by marketing teams, collaborating with the Prostate Thought Leader Engagement Lead for Urology and Global commercial and medical teams, and advancing the capabilities of the US Prostate Cancer Franchise.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ In partnership with their Urology TLEL counterpart, execute a robust multi-stakeholder engagement strategy for Prostate Cancer Oncologist Thought Leaders for National, Regional, Emerging, and Community Thought Leaders

+ Execute strategic plan to maximize the life cycle of the Prostate Cancer portfolio

+ Obtain therapeutic insights from US-based Prostate Oncology and Urology thought leaders and key stakeholders to help advance the Prostate Cancer portfolio

+ Serve as one of the 2 TLEL points of coordination in Prostate Cancer across multiple functions, therapeutic areas to ensure Pfizer can become a preferred partner nationally

+ Establish and maintain organizational processes and guidelines (in partnership with legal/compliance) to ensure a consistent and compliant approach to KOL engagement

+ Lead insight gathering from 1:1 engagements, small group meetings, and advisory boards with US Thought Leaders

+ Establish connectivity across Pfizer functions to facilitate connecting KOLs and key stakeholders to the appropriate internal subject matter experts as needed

+ Work collaboratively and effectively with alliance partners

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

+ BS / BA Degree required

+ Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, medical affairs, strategy, customer engagement or business development in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries

+ Experience in the Prostate Cancer therapeutic area is preferred

+ Strong executional focus and desire to spend a majority of time in the field engaging thought leaders is required, with >50% travel, including weekend travel

+ Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, think creatively, act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization

+ Demonstrated success in internal/external influence/negotiation, building alignment and driving performance

+ Strong interpersonal skills to enable productive and collaborative relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, including influential HCP thought leaders

+ Strong strategic, organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to uncover deep customer insights, and to distill complex business situations into clear and actionable insights

+ Demonstrated creativity in development and partnership collaborations on innovative programs

+ Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to influence peers and colleagues

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Prior KOL engagement and / or scientific exchange in the prostate cancer therapeutic area

+ Advanced degree

**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Must have the ability to work nights and weekends, and travel >50%

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169,700.00 to $282,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
