In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).Duties: Evaluate data, prepare forecasts, and analyze trends in the manufacturing of rolling stock. Undertake reporting of key performance indicators and provide detailed variance analysis. Provide financial planning and guidance to Production Managers, Directors, and the VP of Operations. Ensure financial guidelines are met. Liaise with auditors. Conduct Financial Analysis. Generate ideas and develop new ways to improve processes within the business. Provide support and guidance to others within the finance team.Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Financial Analyst-related occupation.Position requires experience in the following:1. Experience working with SAP and PowerBI.2. Experience in Finance for project manufacturing business.3. Preparing forecasts, budgets and variance analysis.4. Completing journal entries, FASB/GAAP, and General ledgers.5. Analyzing Balance Sheet accounts.Telecommuting within commutable distance may be permissible.
