Senior Marketing Manager, Tissue Removal

The Senior Marketing Manager of Tissue Removal is responsible for all commercial marketing activities to drive growth of the Tissue Removal product lines, including Fluid Management, within the Surgical Division tofulfill our vision of establishing new standards of care. This role is globally focused on enhancing women’s lives and their well-being through differentiated, evidence-based solutions for minimally invasive procedures. The candidate is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that effectively target key audiences including, physicians, patients, Insurance Companies, Government bodies, and drive execution of supporting tactics. Scope includes both traditional and non-traditional marketing efforts such as advertising, sales collateral and training, competitive/market analysis, finance, medical education, KOL development, digital marketing, new product development and launch. The Senior Marketing Manager will successfully oversee all aspects of marketing specific to the product and will possess the ability and experience to drive and execute these responsibilities with minimal management oversight. Ultimately, as the Senior Marketing Manager, the candidate owns the vision and commercial plan for the tissue removal portfolio and provides guidance to the Associate Product Manager on long-term and day-to-day business needs.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Develop and execute measurable strategies and tactics to drive consistent and profitable growth of tissue removal

+ Own the MyoSure, Aquilex and Fluent brands every day, ensuring strong sales execution of plans

+ Guide and shape cross functional team to ensure cohesive and clear strategic and tactical plans for the tissue removal portfolio, across all sites of service

+ Develop and implement creative marketing strategies across core functional areas (sales, physician, clinical, medical education)

+ Analyze ongoing brand performance, driving alignment with full cross functional team. Communicate opportunities and gaps to peers and to management, offering actionable recommendations.

+ Manage junior marketing associates (as applicable) to support tactical execution of strategic objectives and to ensure strong professional development

+ Partner with Portfolio Marketing to define unmet needs in the marketplace and help determine the cadence and phasing for launching new products

+ Assess market information needs relevant to development or monitoring of strategies and implement market research projects to address such issues

+ Develop the annual marketing business plan in alignment with corporate strategies and sales objectives

+ Oversee all product line communication within the sales and marketing departments including development of systems to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness of all communications

+ Partner with Medical Affairs to outline, develop and conduct key opinion leader (KOL) meetings to drive future strategies

+ Work with Medical Affairs and other Brand leaders on Office strategy, as relevant to the tissue removal category and products

+ Monitor costs vs. budgets and work cross-functionally to maximize efficiencies

+ Oversee all aspects of sales meetings related to MyoSure, Fluent and Aquilex including development, planning, budget tracking and implementation of strategy and messaging

+ Lead long-term strategic planning initiatives and manage full annual product marketing budget to ensure accurate program spend

+ Arm the sales force to drive appropriate utilization of MyoSure, Fluent and Aquilex, including developing and managing selling programs, tools and bundling strategies

+ Lead marketing efforts around the development, launch and sale of new products both in the US and in International markets, ensuring launch excellence, clear metrics and high accountability.

+ Partner with Regional Leads to manage brand identity and strategies across multiple International markets

+ Develop educational pieces to train sales force in key clinical, economic, competitive areas

+ Manage production of sales and marketing collateral, video, slides and other related materials. Ensure cost and production efficiencies

+ Ability to execute an integrative marketing plan and knowledge of marketing strategies to defend, build share and product life cycle management.

+ Proven track record of successfully developing growth strategies and implementing major product launches.

+ Healthcare and/or medical device required.

+ Strong collaboration and communication skills.

+ Strong strategic thinker, with experience in shaping future business direction.

+ Highly developed business acumen.

+ Adaptable and flexible, with a passion for driving organization change

+ Confident people manager, passionate about developing and challenging direct reports

+ Powerful written and verbal communicating skills, especially when it comes to inspiring and engaging the sales force

**Education and Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Medicine or related field required. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. (Would consider candidate with strong sales and people leadership background)

+ Minimum 5-7 years of Healthcare Product Management or equivalent work experience required.

**Additional Details**

+ Must be able to travel as required by the needs of the role (25%-30%)
