The Senior Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring finished instruments and accessories conform to specified requirements using established engineering/quality procedures and quality control principles.

This position reports to the Senior Manager – Manufacturing Quality and is part of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs organization located in Indianapolis, IN. This will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Ensure finished products and records (Device History Records) meet all requirements prior to release.

+ Record quality data, including summarization of records of conformance and/or non-conformance, into the applicable database.

+ Clearly communicate and/or escalate identified concerns or opportunities for improvement to cross-functional team members and management.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ High School Diploma / Equivalent with 5+ years of quality control/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read and comprehend blueprints or other specification documents (such as control plans, work instructions, and/or procedures)

+ Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gages, surface plate and height stand, and other traditional inspection tools

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Experience in biomedical research instrument or medical device manufacturing (ISO 13485)

+ Oracle as an ERP and IQVIA as an eQMS
