The Senior Manager – Dermatology will report to the North America Dermatology Medical Lead. The Senior Manager is an integral member of the JAK Medical team and will work under the direction of the JAK medical leader. The Senior Manager – Dermatology will have expertise in Dermatology data and the disease area of the assigned products/ compounds. He/She will support and execute medical strategies and projects for North America Medical Affairs (NAMA). Part of the role is to facilitate the execution of evidence and insight generation, interpretation and dissemination activities for the safe and effective use of Abrocitinib, and/or other pipeline assets as needed.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Senior Manager – Dermatology will partner cross-functionally with medical teams, health economics and outcomes research and market access functions, clinical development, legal, compliance and commercial teams to execute activities supporting NAMA Dermatology. The Senior Manager – Dermatology will collaborate directly with country medical teams to understand unmet medical needs and the medical environment including HCP and patient perspectives, regulatory and market access dynamics and insights to enable the execution of the medical strategy and associated tactics. The Senior Manager will:

+ In consultation with JAK Medical leader, ensure that the assigned medical tactics are executed within budget and on time

+ Lead internal competitive intelligence workstreams, including expertise & knowledge of clinical trial data for compounds in development for Atopic Dermatitis

+ Support the planning and execution of advisory boards for Abrocitinib & SKIN initiative under the direction of the JAK Medical leader

+ Support NAMA Dermatology team with operational activities related to the medical and cross-functional activities within the team’s remit, including data and literature search

+ Demonstrate a good standard of data and disease area expertise for abrocitinib and pipeline assets in the Dermatology therapeutic area

+ Support evidence generation and dissemination strategy for abrocitinib/other pipeline asset, including evidence generation to inform life cycle planning

+ Support insight generation activities, understanding the external customer perspectives through peer-to-peer interactions, data/facts/observations from field medical and advisory board meetings

+ Support Medical Review Committee & Review Committee under the direction of the JAK Medical leader

+ Congress support in collaboration with NAMA Dermatology colleagues

+ Support internal data interpretation and alignment activities

+ Support evidence dissemination and education activities including scientific publications and scientific exchange

+ Support internal medical training curriculum in collaboration with the I&I Medical Affairs Capabilities group

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Terminal Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, or Doctor of Nursing Practice)

+ 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

+ Fluency in written and spoken English required

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Expertise or experience in dermatology is highly desirable.

+ Proven track record of ability to work successfully with cross-functional colleagues in a matrix team setting across countries and internationally with diverse colleagues

+ Industry experience preferred

+ Experience in Medical Affairs preferred

+ Very strong communications and peer-to-peer relationship building capacity and ability to listen, understand and integrate country and local needs
