The Supervisor Material/Planning for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing material movement throughout the manufacturing floor.
This position reports to the Material/Planning Manager and is part of the Operations team located in the United States and will be an on-site role in Miami Florida.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Take ownership and uphold all corporate and site/department-specific physical and financial inventory targets while ensuring material availability in support of site production goals.
+ Direct resolution of complex problems across sub-functions and departmental lines.
+ Manage a team of material handlers that are responsible for scanning when material is needed, binning material, picking material as well as delivering material to the operators.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ High school degree with 8+ years of manufacturing experience, bachelor’s degree with 5+ years manufacturing experience or master’s degree with 3+ years manufacturing experience.
+ Familiarity with Oracle or similar MRP software navigation within the procurement and material management modules.
+ Outstanding verbal and written communication, excel, and presentation skills
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ 2+ years managing people.
+ Leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives
