**Undergrad Co-op – Operations Transformation – Remote (Summer 2026)**

Operations Transformation and Digital Strategy (OTDS) improves business performance across Amgen Operations by scaling CI 2.0—Continuous Improvement and Artificial Intelligence. We partner with Operations to deliver sustained business improvements through execution excellence.

**About This Role:**

This role will support the execution and value validation of an Operations transformation pilot. You will focus on translating strategic intent into clear ways of working that deliver measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you will develop practical skills in Continuous Improvement by applying CI 2.0 methodologies. You will gain hands-on experience to design and pilot AI-enabled tools. Successfully scaling pilots by producing reusable assets that support teams’ execution transformation work across Operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Identify baseline and targets for other pilot opportunities.**

**Translating business needs into solutions that streamline process improvements, improve decision-making, and deliver strong data analytics.**

**Enable data exploration and readiness. Review diverse financial datasets to frame problems around measurable outcomes connecting improvements to business impact.**

**Support fast-paced teams performing rapid analysis on finance, supply, and other operational metric data to uncover insights/actions and visualization tools.**

**Assist in solution iteration based on end-user feedback. Ensuring solutions are practical, gain adoption, and align with evolving business objectives.**

**Translate complex and technical analysis into leadership-ready insights, providing recommendations to key stakeholders.**

**Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, fostering impactful communication skills.**

**Leverage AI to enhance, simplify, and accelerate process innovation.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

+ 18 years or older

+ Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

+ Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

+ Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

+ Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

+ Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Degree concentration in Finance or Data Science.

+ Experience with AI/basic ML concepts (AI prototyping, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and automation of workflows).

+ Familiarity with data tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel advanced analytics).

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $24.70 – $28.30.
