**ROLE SUMMARY**
The US Commercial organization, which is in the Global Hospital & Biosimilars organization, is comprised of over 200 products, spanning more than 10 therapeutic areas, with annual revenue of over $2.5B.
The Biosimilars Analytics and Provider Contracting role has responsibility for provider contract strategy and analytics for the combined Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) and Oncology biosimilars (BSM) portfolios, with net revenue of ~$0.9B, within the US Commercial organization. This includes eight BSM assets – Abrilada, Inflectra, Nivestym, Nyvepria, Retacrit, Ruxience, Trazimera, Zirabev.
The Biosimilars Analytics and Provider Contracting role will report to the US Commercial Pricing and Commercial Operations Lead.
**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
The Biosimilars Provider Contracting role is focused on provider contract strategy and analytics for our Biosimilars portfolio. This role will be responsible for modeling, analytics and forecasting buy and bill contracting models and being the steward of brand economics across managed markets, hospital systems, GPO customer segments and key accounts.
This role works closely with the Biosimilars Portfolio team and other cross-functional partners to support biosimilar portfolio objectives through transactional provider contracting and pricing analytics support.
Responsibilities will include:
+ Collaborate with Portfolio, National Accounts, Health System Directors, and other cross-functional partners in the development and implementation of innovative pricing and contracting strategy for US biosimilars portfolio
+ Gain senior leadership approval for pricing and contracting strategy for key accounts and represent the team on key governance committees
+ Thoroughly pressure test and assess implications of payer and provider contracting initiatives on brand economics, including ASP trajectory and P&L
+ Lead modeling to support brand financial management, including:
+ Develop mid- to long-term ASP forecasts
+ Develop financial forecast in support of annual Operating Plan and quarterly Latest Estimates
+ Partner with Finance to estimate quarter-end accruals related to provider contracts
+ Support decision-making for various payer / provider contracting scenarios
+ Continuously monitor market performance and adjust pricing and contracting approach as necessary; evaluate ROIs of contracts
+ Serve as US Biosimilars pricing lead interface with: Finance, BAI, USMA analytics and contract strategy teams, and customer facing teams
+ In partnership with USMA, develop an integrated payer and provider market access strategy plan to enhance our understanding of the key dynamics among payers and providers and develop offerings to help meet net revenue goals.
+ In partnership with BAI and US Commercial Customer Enablement and Service, develop performance tracking tools leveraging both IQVIA and chargeback data to help identify performance opportunities and shortfalls.
+ In partnership with BAI, USMA and Finance, develop insights for monthly business reviews and operating plan
+ Develop and implement innovative data generation projects to reinforce biosimilar value proposition to US customers
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ 8 years pharmaceutical industry experience with a strong preference for those with Market Access or Contracting experience. Strategic planning, Pricing, Marketing experience is a plus
+ Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
+ Financial modeling and forecasting experience required, prior experience in financial planning and analysis, P&L forecasting preferred
+ Knowledge of US IV buy-and-bill marketplace, ASP-based reimbursement, and key value chain players
+ Track record of strong performance, teamwork, creativity. Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to analyze complex data and develop and implement related strategic recommendations
+ Deep analytics fluency, continuously monitors insights, and has a test-and-learn, iterative mindset
+ Ability to lead initiatives in a highly matrixed environment and gain buy-in across multiple groups across Pfizer that may have different points of view
+ Acts decisively. Ability to move fast in response to what is happening in the external marketplace even when there may not be precedent or historical data
+ Demonstrated execution and project management skills, with an ability to work very proactively and under tight timelines
+ Demonstrated experience that shows he/she has finger on the pulse of the customer, can take accountability for business challenges and tackle complex problems; willing to learn and embrace new approaches to modeling
+ An “execution mindset” focused on getting things done quickly and simply
+ Excellent writing, oral and presentation skills; Ability to convey and effectively communicate pricing analysis project proposals and strategies, and the results of complex data analyses to diverse audiences
+ High level of integrity, transparency of conduct
+ Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues from multiple functional areas
+ Strong Leadership experience preferred
+ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities
+ Advanced Excel modeling capabilities
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Experience in biosimilars marketplace, particularly oncology biosimilars
+ Experience in and with account management or account management support functions
+ Managed Care or Customer Strategy experience and in depth understanding of the healthcare market

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,900.00 to $261,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
