**About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:**

The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!

The EA Business Unit in Wendell, North Carolina, which is its U.S. headquarters, focuses on electric-vehicle charging, photovoltaic inverters, medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and services, and solutions, including automation. Additionally, assembly of electric-vehicle chargers, low-voltage motor control centers, and retrofit and replacement circuit breakers occurs at the facility.

**We are looking for a Warehouse Manager. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.**

Reporting to the Plant Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead the warehouse, receiving, and inventory control activities at the Siemens plant in Wendell, NC.

**You’ll make an impact by:**

+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

+ Ensure compliance with Receiving, Put-away and Picking processes

+ Ensure Inventory Accuracy level is above target and ensure Productivity within the department.

+ Maintains department staff job results by training, **measuring** , monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

+ Managing direct and indirect employees and complete performance reviews.

+ Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols

+ Respond timely and professionally to Internal customer complaints and inquiries

+ Conducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources are balanced with demand

+ Monitor department workflow indicators and respond to exceptions

+ Lead troubleshooting of complex inventory, transactional, and operational issues using root cause analysis

+ Guide and manage the process of material flow within the facility to internal customers

+ Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teams

+ Conduct training for employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality, business processes, and HR policies

**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline

+ 5+ years of leadership experience in a high volume manufacturing environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with SAP WM module

+ Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

+ Experience in areas such as Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related manufacturing functions

+ Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

+ Experience with warehouse management systems

+ Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP).

+ Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

+ Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel

+ Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipment

+ Experience with warehouse scanning equipment and applications

+ Data Driven Decision Making

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
