Basic Purpose
The Application Specialist for Hematology is responsible for supporting Beckman Coulter customers by delivering expert training, technical support, and troubleshooting across the Hematology product line and instruments. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction, expanding our test menu adoption, and strengthening Beckman Coulter’s impact in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Technical Support
+ Provide end-user education, training, and troubleshooting for Hematology instruments.
+ Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to parameters, calibration, and quality control.
+ Develop and deliver product training to both customers and internal associates (sales & service).
+ Support Channel Partners with clinical expertise and ensure the installed base receives adequate support.
+ Conduct onsite training for new installations and ensure smooth clinical adoption.
+ Provide remote support to customers when needed.
Customer Engagement
+ Build and maintain long-term relationships with end users by proactively meeting their needs.
+ Expand the Hematology test menu and promote Beckman Coulter’s product portfolio.
+ Support the implementation of clinical projects and align with healthcare professionals to ensure success.
Collaboration
+ Work closely with Sales and Service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
+ Attend internal and external meetings related to Beckman Coulter’s product portfolio.
+ Partner with distributors and purchasing agents to strengthen Beckman Coulter’s presence in the Saudi market.
Travel & Time Commitment
+ 80% of time spent in the field visiting customers.
+ 50% travel requirement across Northern and Eastern Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications & Requirements
+ B.Sc. degree in Life Sciences or Medical Laboratory.
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience with hematology analyzers and benchtop systems.
+ Diagnostic / laboratory experience is mandatory.
+ Strong clinical and commercial mindset.
+ Fluent in both English and Arabic.
+ Proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
+ Highly agile, flexible, and comfortable with extensive travel.
+ Solid understanding of the Saudi Arabia diagnostics market.
