We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Entry-Level Functional Test Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in electrical engineering and a passion for hands-on testing, diagnostics, and continuous improvement. You will support the validation and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and contribute to the development of robust testing protocols in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
**As a Functional Test Engineer, you will:**
+ Execute functional and integrity tests on electronic control systems and sub-assemblies.
+ Assist in the setup and maintenance of test stands and equipment for production and validation testing.
+ Troubleshoot test failures and assist in identifying root causes through circuit diagnostics and data analysis.
+ Document test results and support the development of standardized testing procedures.
+ Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve test coverage and reliability.
+ Support automation of test script generation and contribute to digital operations improvements.
+ Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards.
**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
+ Familiarity with functional testing of electronic systems and basic failure analysis techniques.
+ Exposure to tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or C++.
+ Understanding of circuit board components and basic diagnostic methods.
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
+ Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or willingness to obtain).
+ ISO 9001:2015 awareness or training.
+ Experience with Agile development practices.
