**ROLE SUMMARY**

The Business Translator serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams within the AI Accelerator. This role is critical in ensuring that AI and data-driven solutions are aligned with real-world business needs, particularly in complex healthcare environments across the US Commercial Organization. The Business Translator will lead the translation of business challenges into actionable AI use cases, enabling impactful innovation.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Strategic Alignment & Use Case Definition**

+ Identify high-value business problems that can be addressed through AI, automation, or advanced analytics.

+ Translate business objectives into clear, actionable AI use cases with measurable outcomes.

+ Prioritize use cases based on strategic impact, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.

**Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation**

+ Act as the primary liaison between business units (e.g., Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access) and technical teams (e.g., Data Science, Engineering).

+ Facilitate workshops, interviews, and co-creation sessions to gather insights and define solution requirements.

+ Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and outcomes are communicated effectively.

**Requirements Gathering & Documentation**

+ Develop detailed business requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI solutions.

+ Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and Solutions Architecture teams to ensure business needs are reflected in design and functionality.

+ Maintain traceability between business goals, technical implementation, and performance metrics.

**Value Realization & Impact Measurement**

+ Define success metrics and KPIs for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.

+ Monitor solution performance post-deployment and support continuous improvement efforts.

+ Communicate impact and ROI to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

**Market & Domain Expertise**

+ Maintain deep understanding of oncology workflows, healthcare regulations, and regional market dynamics (e.g., ANVISA, COFEPRIS).

+ Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to AI in healthcare.

+ Provide domain context to technical teams to enhance model relevance and usability.

**Change Management & Adoption Support**

+ Support change management efforts to drive adoption of AI solutions across business units.

+ Develop training materials, onboarding guides, and communication plans to facilitate user engagement.

+ Address resistance and feedback through iterative design and stakeholder collaboration.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Health, or related field.

+ 8+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or digital transformation, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.

+ Proven experience working with AI/ML teams and translating business needs into technical requirements.

+ Strong understanding of oncology, healthcare workflows, and international market dynamics.

+ Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,600.00 to $261,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
