ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
The role is responsible for leading the team to support and maintain the Amgen Veeva Vault Platform. The role will be involved in defining Amgen’s Veeva Vault Platform support strategy , guiding technology decisions, and ensuring timely service is provide to the Amgen Veeva Vault platform users and their issues are resolved.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in technology-driven environments, managing technology platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and have a passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional and global teams is required to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. This role demands the ability to drive and deliver against key organizational strategic initiatives, foster a collaborative environment, and deliver high-quality results in a matrixed organizational structure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Develop andmaintainthe enterpriseVeeva Vault Platformsupportstrategy, ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.
+ Responsible forfosteringplatform reliability.
+ Identifyand mitigate architectural risks, ensuring thatthe platformisscalable, secure, and resilient
+ Maintainknowledge base of Veeva issues, including principles, standards,user guides,and models
+ Drive continuous improvement in the architecture byidentifyingopportunities for innovation and efficiency
+ Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical needs
+ Accountablefordesigning andbuildingcustomizations&configurations on the Platform as per the business needsincluding,creating custom objects, fields,workflowsandSDKs
+ Responsiblefor strategizing Platform Integrations while adhering toconsistent integration standards and patterns,designingintegrationworkflows, buildingconnectors,centralizingbuild & run andexecutingconsistent DevOps model forintegrations
+ Performimpact assessments,clearly defineAS-IS and TO-BE states,andrecommend platform upgradesin accordance withthe new features and functionalities released by Veeva
+ Designplatform architecturethat can scale to meet growing business needs and performance demands
+ Develop andmaintainlogical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs
+ Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices
Basic Qualifications and Experience:

+ Doctorate Degree OR
+ Master’s degree with 4 – 6 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield OR
+ Bachelor’s degree with 6 – 8 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield OR
+ Diploma with 10 – 12 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor related field
+ Bachelor’s degree with 8 – 10 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield OR
+ Diploma with 12 – 14 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor related field
Functional Skills:

Shift Information:
This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, as required based on business requirements.
