Are you ready to be a vital part of a team that keeps buildings running smoothly and safely? Join Siemens as a **Field Quote Center Coordinator!** In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our internal and external customers by creating essential proposals for building system repairs, covering everything from Fire Alarm and Sprinkler systems to Security, Building Automation, and Mechanical Services.
This position offers the best of both worlds – the flexibility of remote work combined with the benefits of in-person collaboration when needed. While you’ll primarily work from your home office, occasional travel may be required for important team gatherings, project kick-offs, strategic discussions, or training. Your specific schedule might vary based on team needs, project timelines, and your individual performance.
**As a Field Quote Center Coordinator, you will:**
+ Process Request for Quotes (RFQs) from our dedicated Field Service Technicians and Service Team Members, received via telephone or email submissions, within our FQC Activity Central Program.
+ Create bookings in Siemens Service Systems and ensure clear communication upon completion.
+ Keep internal and external customers informed with consistent follow-up communications regarding the status of their quotes.
+ Be a friendly voice, assisting with answering phones for all disciplines within the Field Quote Center (FQC).
+ Support our Estimators by helping to answer questions from Field Service Teams related to tracking information when needed.
**You’ll make an impact with these qualifications:**
_Basic Qualifications:_
+ High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
+ 2+ years of administrative experience, showcasing strong organizational skills.
+ 2+ years of experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ 2+ years of experience prioritizing and responding to customer inquiries through various channels (email, phone calls, and/or databases).
+ Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general PC skills based on your work experience.
+ Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally (both verbally and in writing), providing top-notch customer service to remote customers, field technicians, and operations teams.
+ The ability to manage multiple tasks and skillfully prioritize your workload based on current demand.
+ You must be able to work effectively in a home-based, virtual environment.
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
+ Flexibility in your schedule, with the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
_Preferred Qualifications:_
+ Knowledge or aptitude for Commercial Building Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems (e.g., HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, and Security construction, sales, administration, & project management) based on applicable work experience.
+ An associate degree or bachelor’s degree.
+ Field Technical Experience in the Mechanical Industry, HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Construction, and/or Security Systems industry.
+ A demonstrated understanding of business processes, standard practices, tools, and financial systems that support commercial building systems.
+ Estimating and/or sales experience in the Mechanical Industry, HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Construction, and/or Security Systems industry.
