The Lead D365 F&O Developer is responsible for driving the technical design, development, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. In this role, you’ll lead a team of developers, architect scalable solutions, build customizations and integrations, and collaborate closely with business and functional teams to deliver high quality, enterprise grade results.
This position reports to the Senior Manager ERP Applications and is part of the Global IT Department located in Hyderabad, India (or close to) and will be working remotely to cover United States (pacific time Zone & Europe Time zone).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Design, develop, and optimize D365 F&O solutions—including customizations, integrations, reports, and automation—using X++, Azure Integration Services, Power Platform, and modern development best practices.
+ Manage environments, deployments, and DevOps processes, ensuring system reliability, performance, security, and compliance across global operations.
+ Lead and collaborate across teams by mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and working with cross‑functional stakeholders worldwide.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ 10–12 years of D365 development experience, including 2+ years leading development teams and guiding technical delivery with demonstrated ability to mentor, review code, and uphold engineering standards.
+ Advanced expertise in X++, Visual Studio, .NET/C#, SQL, JavaScript, and modern D365 extension frameworks, capable of building scalable, maintainable, and performance‑optimized solutions.
+ Deep experience with DMF, Data Entities, SSRS, ER, Power Apps, and data migration processes. Hands‑on proficiency with Azure integrations including Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and event‑driven architectures.
+ Strong background with Azure DevOps CI/CD, Git branching, and automated testing (RSAT) & skilled in designing reliable data pipelines and reporting solutions.
+ Strong knowledge of LCS, deployments, PPAC, Dual‑write, BYOD, and environment monitoring, plus broad Power Platform experience. Excellent problem‑solver with proven leadership and developer mentorship capabilities.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Microsoft certifications (MB‑500, MB‑300, MB‑700, or Azure).
+ Experience customizing Copilot or building AI-driven solutions with Copilot Studio.
+ Experience in large-scale D365 migrations or upgrades.
