**About the Role**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the development and embedding of strategic procurement capabilities across Amgen’s Global Procurement organization.
Working within the Procurement Strategic Capability Team, the Senior Associate will collaborate with procurement team members globally to help operationalize capability improvements. This includes coordinating activities to embed tools, training, processes, and best practices that enable strategic sourcing, supplier management, and other core procurement competencies.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
· Support the maintenance of the procurement capability framework, including definitions, templates, and documentation.
· Assist in tracking and updating the strategic capabilities roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
· Contribute to data collection and analysis for benchmarking and future-state capability planning.
· Collaborate with Global Procurement teams across categories, regions, and functions.
· Coordinate rollout and adoption of tools, frameworks, and processes.
· Support training sessions and collect user feedback.
· Develop job aids, reference materials, and communications to reinforce new capabilities.
· Participate in capability working groups and forums.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives across people, process, and digital enablement.
· Prepare presentations, dashboards, and leadership reports on capability development progress.

· Exposure to procurement, supply chain, business operations, or capability development.
· Strong organization and documentation skills.

· Basic analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail.
Good-to-Have Skills
· Familiarity with benchmarking and strategic planning approaches.
· Experience with analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
· Knowledge of procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Workday Strategic Sourcing or other CLM tools).

**Basic Qualifications**
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic program management, transformation, or management consulting.
