Sales Training (セールストレーニング) 担当者は、新人および若手営業社員向けの研修プログラムを企画・実施し、営業組織全体の能力向上を推進する役割を担います。また、営業担当者との同行支援、重点大学(Top 3~5大学)のフォロー、学会での立ち合い、リードフォローおよび商談立ち上げ支援、さらには入札案件に関するアドバイスを通じて、組織の成果に直接貢献します。これらの活動は、SCIEX の市場プレゼンス強化とビジネス成長を支える重要な役割を果たします。
本ポジションは Commercial Directorにレポートします。勤務地は大阪事業所で、営業部に所属します。勤務形態は完全リモート勤務です。
このポジションで主に担当いただく業務(In this role, you will have the opportunity to)
1. 営業人材育成とトレーニングの企画・実施
+ 新人・若手営業向けの構造化されたオンボーディングと継続トレーニングの提供
+ 学会やアカデミックイベントへ参加し、教育・営業支援活動を実施
2. フィールドコーチングおよび営業活動支援
+ 営業担当者との同行訪問によるリアルタイムコーチングと提案アドバイス
+ リードフォローや商談の立ち上げ(オープニング)サポート
3. 重点アカウントおよび入札案件の戦略支援
+ Top3〜5大学との関係構築・営業連携の推進
+ 入札(Tender)に関する要件整理・提案戦略のアドバイス
必須要件(The essential requirements of the job include)
+ ライフサイエンスまたは分析機器業界における営業、フィールドアプリ、またはトレーニング関連業務の複数年の経験
+ 顧客訪問、科学ワークフロー、または LC/MS に関する基礎的な理解
+ 出張を伴う業務(営業同行、学会参加、顧客訪問など)への対応が可能であること
出張・運転・身体要件
+ 国内出張が可能であること
+ 有効な運転免許を保持し、適切な運転記録があること
+ 必要に応じてデモ機器等の取り扱いが可能であること

The Sales Training is responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs that accelerate the capability development of new and early‑career sales associates. This role also plays a critical part in supporting field sales effectiveness through on‑site coaching, customer engagement support, and strategic input for high‑priority accounts and bids. These contributions directly enhance organizational performance and strengthen SCIEX’s presence in key academic and commercial markets.
This position reports to the Commercial Director and is part of the sales, located in Osaka, Japan and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Design and deliver sales training programs
+ Deliver structured onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and early‑career sales associates.
+ Participate in scientific conferences and academic events to support training and sales enablement activities.
2. Provide field coaching and sales activity support
+ Conduct field visits with sales representatives to provide real‑time coaching and tactical advice during customer engagements.
+ Support lead follow‑up activities and assist in opening opportunities to expand the sales pipeline.
3. Strengthen key academic accounts and support bid strategy
+ Support relationship development and engagement activities with Top 3–5 academic institutions, working closely with sales to strengthen SCIEX’s presence in key accounts.
+ Provide guidance to sales teams on bid preparation, including tender requirements and proposal strategy.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Multiple years of experience in sales, field applications, commercial training, or a related function within life sciences or analytical instrumentation industries.
+ Strong understanding of customer engagement processes, scientific workflows, or LC/MS applications.
+ Ability to travel for field coaching, conferences, and customer visits as required.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
+ Ability to travel domestically (approx. XX% including occasional overnight travel).
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
+ Ability to handle demo equipment as required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience delivering structured sales or technical training programs.
+ Experience working with academic institutions, tenders, or complex bid management processes.
