ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
As a Senior Manager – V&A Insights, you will be responsible for leading team to develop and deploy advanced machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods to uncover structure in large data sets. This role under supervision of Director Value and Access Insights creates analytics solutions to address customer needs and opportunities
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Provide oversight to a team of Managers, Business analysts, data scientists and engineers on developing and deploying AI solutions
+ Assume the role of business owner and manage the Proprietary AI algorithms built to support Copay, Patient support, Gross to Net programs and other aspects of US value and access ecosystem
+ Identify Opportunity areas within US commercial organizations to leverage AI/ML into driving revenue and optimization
+ Cross Collaborate with US Commercial and Technology functions for expansion and continued Optimization
+ Accountable to drive full lifecycle of Data Science projects delivery and ability to guide data scientists in shaping the developing solutions and act as a subject matter expert in solving development and commercial questions
+ Own the end-to-end AI Product roadmap: from performance tracking and Strategic design recommendations using predictive modeling and opportunity sizing.
+ Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics.
+ Summarize and Present insights to Cross functional executive leadership
+ Oversee a team of 8-10 Data scientists including managers and senior associates, including setting performance standards, managing their staffing, and monitoring performance
+ Lead Development and integration custom applications, intelligent dashboards, and automated workflows that incorporate AI capabilities to enhance decision-making and efficiency
+ Serve as the AI/ML subject matter expert within Value & Access.
Functional Skills:
**Must-Have Skills**
+ Foundational understanding of US pharmaceutical ecosystem and Patient support services offerings (Copay) and other standard data sets including claims, prescription
+ Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages like R and Python
+ Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniques
+ Experience in statistical techniques and hypothesis testing, experience with regression analysis, clustering and classification
Professional Certifications
+ Any AWS Developer certification (preferred)
+ Any Python and ML certification (preferred)
Basic Qualifications **:**
+ Master’s degree in computer science, statistics or STEM majors with a minimum of 8 years of Information Systems experience OR
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or STEM majors with a minimum of 10 years of Information Systems experience.
+ Strong understanding of US pharmaceutical ecosystem and Patient support services offerings (Copay) and other standard data sets including claims, prescription
+ Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages like R and Python
+ Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 3-5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, ideally with hands-on involvement in Gross-to-Net (GTN), revenue forecasting, product launches, and commercial strategy support
+ Experience in leading data science projects and managing large teams
+ Knowledge of NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis
+ Experience in analyzing time-series data for forecasting and trend analysis
+ Experience with Databricks platform for data analytics and MLOps Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Soft Skills:
+ Initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
+ Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts.
+ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
