**We are looking for an E-Commerce Sales Support Professional** to support Grid Software’s sales teams. You will be responsible for the sales quote process and order fulfillment for grid simulation software and its digital transformation.

**This is a hybrid role reporting into our Schenectady NY office, working from home a few days a week while collaborating on site with the team on other days. (We are unable to offer relocation assistance to the Capital Region.)**

**You’ll make an impact as you:**

+ Develop and coordinate software proposals for global sales organizations and support direct customer engagements within the Grid Simulation Software business. You will process orders and deliver software licenses, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

+ Support the global sales regions through regular, proactive communication and coordination within the Sales Operations team.

+ Manage e‑commerce lead‑to‑order workflows by qualifying system‑generated leads, validating customer and export‑control data, and creating account and transactional records across Salesforce, SAP and subscription platforms.

+ Drive transactions by generating and processing carts, executing orders and entitlements, delivering software licenses, and resolving operational support requests.

+ Oversee subscription lifecycle activities and maintain product and pricing data while partnering with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) on billing, catalog updates. and demand‑generation initiatives.

+ Influence the conceptual development of topics related to the Xcelerator Marketplace, including defining business requirements

+ Manage area-specific key performance indicators and producing reports and analytical insights.

**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**

**Basic qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree required, with a focus in business administration, finance, business informatics preferred **.**

+ At least two years of professional experience in sales or sales operations required, with proven success at an enterprise company preferred. Experience with software sales is highly desired.

+ A professional history of managing of Terms & Conditions and license agreements **.**

+ Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), and with SAP and/or Salesforce.

+ Experience in creating reports and analysis.

+ You have IT project experience, ideally in digitalization in sales, subscription management, and/or e-commerce.

+ You are interested in strategic and conceptual topics in the field of digital selling and in an agile working environment.

+ Proven ability to work independently, with a proactive and organized approach.

+ Strong communication skills in business-proficient English and interculturally competent.

+ Adaptable to new tasks, solutions, and customer needs.

+ Ability to travel 5% (with possible international travel)

+ Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
