The Vice President, Global Integrated Supply Chain is responsible for global supply chain, strategic sourcing, materials management, sales and operations planning, logistics and distribution for Pall Corporation. The Vice President defines the overall strategy, organization structure, and Danaher Business System (DBS) processes for these functions to ensure customer requirements are met and Pall Corporation’s Core Value Drivers (CVD’s) are achieved. These CVD’s include: On-time Delivery, Past Due Backlog, Inventory Turns, Purchase Price Variance and Value Analysis Value Engineering (PPV/VAVE) savings, freight costs and have a direct impact on overall spread cost for the business.

The successful incumbent will work to define a high-performing organizational design that drives effective deployment and sustainment of DBS capability for the function leveraging Danaher Materials System, Supply Base Management (SBM), Cost and Savings Funnel Management (CSFM), as well as more tactical tools (Kanban, PSP, IMAG, etc.). As a member of the Global Operations Leadership team, this role is designed for an onsite work arrangement at one of our facilities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Ensure Strategic Sourcing, Materials Management, Sales and Operations Planning and Logistics objectives align with customer sales and shipment goals, and that capacity, manpower and technology are in place to support all requirements.

+ Influence strategic “make/buy” decisions and supplier sourcing/location decisions through careful analysis of data to ensure maximum efficiencies and cost controls are maintained.

+ Promote and deploy Danaher Business Systems (DBS) to achieve breakthrough performance in Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost of products procured and produced using DMS, SBM, and CSFM.

+ Ensure inventory and shipping/receiving across all manufacturing plants and distribution centers operates at levels that meet customer needs and established financial benchmarks.

+ Formulate and recommend sourcing/materials policies and programs which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

+ Drive an engaging team culture by leading the strategic sourcing, materials management, sales and operations planning and logistics teams to achieve delivery of distinctively high-quality products and services, including performance, reliability, labor and materials costs, delivery against PPV initiatives, and on-time delivery.

+ Ensure compliance and implementation of Process and Operating Instruction congruent to those of the Corporation, ensuring compliance with Special Worker Safety-relevant Legal Requirements (Labor Protection Law, Industrial Constitution Law etc.) for the region and per corporate EHS guidelines.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Operations Management, or a technical field would be preferred.

+ A minimum of 10 years’ supply chain management experience in a multi-national matrixed manufacturing environment with strong background in Strategic Sourcing, Materials management, Sales and Operations Planning, Logistics & Distribution, and expert knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements applicable to the industry and customers served.

+ At least 10 years of experience in people management, including direct and indirect leadership of teams with 10 or more individuals across global locations.

+ Demonstrated expertise in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and practices in an industrial operations environment, with a particular focus on integrated supply chain. Global experience in this regard is desired.

+ Flexibility to travel internationally and domestically, up to 50% of the time, in order to support project and business development efforts, as well as to collaborate with a global staff.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Knowledge of the global marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation processes or related disciplines.

+ Experience in developing business strategy and leading strategic initiatives in support of functional and business objectives.

+ Comfort with Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0 concepts, experience with advanced digital planning tools, and/or professional certifications related to integrated supply chain management.

The annual salary range for this role is $250,000 – $300,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
