The Sales Representative is responsible for strategically prospecting and qualifying mid-to-large clinical laboratories, driving market expansion, and achieving sales targets for private and public sectors.
This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Sales Department located in Brazil and will be working remotely to cover Northeast.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Strategically prospect and qualify mid-to-large clinical laboratories in both private and public sectors, focusing on high-growth regions.
+ Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key decision-makers, including public sector institutions and distributors, ensuring market penetration and customer satisfaction.
+ Conduct in-depth analysis of sales funnel via SFDC, providing accurate forecasts and detailed action plans to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
+ Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and the comprehensive product portfolio, delivering value-driven, consultative sales presentations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Multiple years of experience in consultative sales within the diagnostics or life sciences industry.
+ Proven track record of achieving sales targets for complex solutions
+ Strong experience managing long sales cycles (6-12 months) and navigating public sector procurement processes.
+ Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
+ Ability to travel extensively within designated territories.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel – up to 50% travel, including overnight stays, within the assigned territory (Brazil, with focus on Northeast).
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Specific expertise in diagnostic product lines.
+ Established network within hospital laboratories or public health institutions in Brazil.
