The Senior Business Intelligence and Data Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and governing scalable business intelligence solutions and data architectures. The role enables data-driven decision-making across the EMEA commercial organization by transforming complex, multi-source data into actionable insights through robust data models, optimized pipelines, and Power BI reporting.

This position reports to the Head of Commercial Excellence and Business Analytics (EMEA) and is part of the EMEA Sales Operation and Enablement team and will be in Barcelona (Spain) or Prague (Czech Republic) and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Power BI solutions, including datasets, data models, and dashboards.

+ Build scalable, reusable semantic models (e.g., star schemas, data marts) to support sales, pricing, and profitability analytics.

+ Define and govern KPI frameworks to ensure consistent, reliable reporting across the organization.

+ Optimize BI performance through efficient data modeling, DAX, and query design.

+ Architect and manage data models and pipelines integrating multiple enterprise data sources (e.g., ERP, CRM, CPQ).

+ Establish best practices for data transformation, normalization, and integration to ensure high data quality and scalability.

+ Partner with IT and global teams to align with enterprise data warehouse and data lake architecture.

+ Drive data governance standards, including data quality controls, access management, and documentation.

+ Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to enable high-performance analytics.

+ Deliver advanced analytics and insights: forecasting, predictive modeling, stakeholder-ready visuals, UAT participation, data literacy enablement, and support for process and Lean initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ B.Sc./M.Sc. in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related field.

+ Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design).

+ Solid knowledge of data architecture principles (data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing).

+ Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.

+ Experience integrating data from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, and other enterprise systems.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Ability to travel 10%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Sales Operations, preferably in Sanitary/Pharmaceutical Sector is a plus

+ Lean Change Management Models, data-driven transformation and continuous improvement methodologies in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities

+ Experience with Lean or data-driven transformation methodologies is a plus.
