The **Administrative Assistant** provides exceptional administrative assistance to the team by direction of the Region Administrative Manager and Area General Manager. Assumes Office Management duties – ensuring smooth operation of the day-to-day activities of the office, working with outside vendors or internal projects. Acts as a Culture Ambassador, taking initiative to guard and promote our ownership culture by encouraging a trusting, respectful and friendly atmosphere. The position promotes office initiatives, all while helping to make Siemens an employer of choice.

**As an Administrative Assistant, you will:**

+ Act as the point of contact for third parties such as property manager, office suppliers, accounts payable

+ Handle SAP data entry – setup of new hires, internal job transfers

+ On-board new employees and offboarding employee resignation/terminations

+ Manage office budget while reviewing inventory levels of office/ departmental supplies ensuring office supplies are stocked

+ Create purchase orders and vendor set ups through Supply Chain Management Systems

+ Maintain various departmental record(s) in accordance with company policies and procedures

+ Keep a tab on the overall pulse of the office environment, and coordinating fun internal office activities (birthdays, Family Day, welcome lunches, etc)

+ Handle marketing & Event support, local business relations Liaison

+ Coordinate team events and/or meetings, catering

+ Plan and manage customer meetings, training sessions, catering for events

+ Be the Safety Program Lead

+ Identify cost reduction activities

+ Manage and coordinate projects as assigned

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**  

_Basic Qualifications:_    

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ A minimum of 3-8 years of secretarial and administrative experience

+ PC skills required for report generation, presentations, and general correspondence

+ Requires the ability to exercise normal independent judgment and basic reasoning skills

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ Demonstrated: Team Player, Excellent Written/Verbal Communication and Customer Service Skills

+ Experience with Office 365

+ SAP

The pay range for this position is $49,980 – $85,680 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
