Amgen is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated candidates to join our **Electrical Apprenticeship Programme** in Dún Laoghaire. This programme combines hands-on industry experience with classroom-based learning, allowing apprentices to earn while they learn in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will work alongside experienced Maintenance & Engineering professionals while developing practical skills in electrical systems, automation and control systems, instrumentation, and manufacturing operations.

**Entry Requirements**
Applicants must:

+ Enjoy teamwork and have a strong interest in Engineering

**About the Role**
The Electrical Apprentice will support the Facilities & Engineering team in maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment and systems within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. The apprentice will receive both on-the-job and off-the-job training while developing technical, practical, and problem-solving skills essential for a successful engineering career.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist with equipment setup and maintenance activities
+ Support electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting
+ Participate in root-cause investigations and problem-solving exercises
+ Work with automated manufacturing systems and plant technologies
+ Perform routine operational and maintenance checks
+ Learn and follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures
+ Use plant systems including PLCs, DCS, MES & CMMS
+ Collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams
