We are seeking a highly organized and driven **Load Planner** to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, optimizing, and executing outbound freight to consistently meet—and exceed—customer expectations.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where priorities can shift quickly. Success requires strong decision-making, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously. As a key partner to Sales, Operations, and external carriers, you will play a critical role in maintaining service excellence, inventory accuracy, and overall supply chain efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Freight Planning & Execution**
+ Analyze customer orders and build logical, cost-effective shipment plans
+ Allocate materials based on real-time inventory levels
+ Ensure compliance with all customer-specific delivery requirements
+ Manage and maintain internal performance metrics
**Carrier & Broker Coordination**
+ Collaborate with affiliated brokers to schedule pickups and communicate special instructions
+ Provide clear routing, delivery timelines, and shipment details to optimize cost and service
**Cross-Functional Partnership**
+ Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations to ensure customer expectations are met
+ Support order modifications and communicate updates proactively
+ Follow through on requests to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
**Operational Excellence**
+ Partner across departments to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow on the supply chain floor
+ Build strong working relationships to promote a collaborative, high-performance culture
+ Manage daily workload and priorities to ensure uninterrupted business flow
**Continuous Improvement**
+ Participate in projects focused on improving operational efficiency
+ Support additional duties and initiatives as needed
**Experience & Qualifications**
+ 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
+ Working knowledge of U.S. freight transportation and routing
+ Familiarity with DOT rules and regulations preferred
+ Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

**Technical Skills**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
+ Experience with TMS and WMS platforms
+ Strong overall computer proficiency
