**What You Can Expect**
The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for leading strategic and operational supply chain activities related to contract manufacturing partners. This role ensures uninterrupted supply of finished goods and components, drives supplier performance, manages inventory and capacity planning, and collaborates cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and Finance to achieve organizational objectives and regulatory compliance. Has overall responsibility for the supply planning, procurement, and management of orders of medical devices and services from approved suppliers in alignment with forecasted net requirements.
**How You’ll Create Impact**
+ Develop and manage relationships with Suppliers/Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
+ Manage supplier capability, capacity, and cost to allocate annual spend to qualified suppliers, optimizing service, quality, and cost.
+ Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development teams during new product launches.
+ Coordinate manufacturing transfers and scale-up activities.
+ Lead regular supplier production reviews to ensure needed capacity and on-time delivery.
+ Lead quarterly business reviews with suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
+ Monitor supplier capacity and develop contingency plans to identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
+ Oversee the management of basic and advanced planning parameters to ensure optimal net requirements planning within SAP.
+ Review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policy and alignment to supplier contract conditions.
+ Manage net requirements against supply and demand; manage open order exceptions.
+ Drive the KPIs review; develop and execute strategies to address unfavorable results.
+ Identify and lead closure of business process gaps; collaborate with stakeholders to drive business process improvement for planning, procurement, and inventory.
+ Control inventory levels to mitigate stockouts while maintaining cost effective operational expenses.
+ Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments such as Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
+ Coordinates existing and potential supplier facilities to evaluate manufacturing processes, capabilities, recent investments, potential for growth, performance trends, etc.
+ Lead contract negotiations with external contract-manufacturing and other supply partners.
+ Coordinate bids and award business to suppliers based on best quality, price, and lead time performance.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**Your Background**
+ Four-year Degree (B.S/B.A.) or equivalent work experience required,
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in related field such as supply planning, purchasing, or supply chain required, preferably in medical device environment; may accept prior military service in leadership positions in lieu of specific supply chain experience.
+ APICS CSCP/CPIM certification preferred.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including expert level Excel skills.
+ SAP ECC or S4 experience preferred.
+ Strategic Sourcing, opportunity analysis, and strong negotiation skills.
+ Highly effective communication skills
+ Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience working with detailed product line forecasts; familiarity with Sales & Operations Planning business management process.
+ Demonstrated success in driving process improvement.
+ Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and time management skills with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with various cross functional teams.
+ Previous medical device experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated leadership style that motivates team performance by communicating a company vision and provides coaching to a team.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
**Compensation Data**
Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications
