The **Solutions Senior Sales Executive** is committed
to supporting our Solutions (New Construction) business within our commercial
Smart Buildings Total Fire Alarm & Life Safety Solutions team. In this
role, you will achieve booking and profit goals by developing and implementing
plans to grow, develop, and manage contractor, consultant, authority
having jurisdiction, developer, and end-user relationships; capitalize on sales
opportunities within the territory; and effectively execute sophisticated deals
independently within our established guidelines. Our
Sales Executives are ambassadors of quality Siemens technology, products and
services, and your expertise and
regular interaction with the customers will help them optimize and facilitate a safe, emergency-ready workplace.
**As a Solutions Senior Sales Executive, you will:**
+ Understandmarket, competitor offerings, customers anddecision influencers across the region, segments, and verticalswithin the region. Stay updated on automation, electrical, fire,mechanical, and IoT market trends.
+ Developa vertical market and account management plan for strategicgrowth. Identify new business opportunities and create “go-to-market”strategies for end-user customers.
+ Maintaina qualified funnel of opportunities, achieve new order/booking and profitgoals consistently.
+ Collaboratewith operations and internal teams for excellent customer outcomes.Partner with other sales divisions for new projects and accounts.
+ Attendindustry-specific networking events; actively participate inprofessional organizations such as NFPA, NFSA, ASHE, NBFAA, AFAA, IFMA,SAME, 7×24, etc. to build a network of contacts andto represent Siemens in the market.
+ Influence newconstruction specifications by developing relationships with consultingengineers and architects.
+ Workjointly with the multiple levels of the customer’s organization tounderstand and document their business goals and success metrics.
+ Perform customersite surveys to support the development of multi-offering estimatesand proposals across a broad fire and life safety portfolio.
+ Developvalue-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Workwith operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources toobtain the sale.
+ Ensure asmooth sales-to-operations turnover and follow through on soldprojects to ensure satisfactory completion. Maintain relationships withcustomers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and futurebusiness.
+ Have developedorganizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
+ Actively participate insales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeableon current market, business, and product trends.
+ Travelovernight up to 10% for training and business development.
**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**
_Basic Qualifications:_ _ _
+ HighSchool Diploma or state-recognized GED
+ 3+years of experience in end-to-end sales, business development, orconsulting within the commercial fire alarm/life safety or similarcommercial building construction industries, such as electrical saleswithin commercial/construction industries
+ On-the-jobexperience with common fire and life safety systems and equipment andexperience with building fire alarm codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA,etc.)
+ Must beable to demonstrate financial expertise estimating andselling technical solutions and service product lines effectively andindependently andaccountdevelopment and strategicsales skills
+ Verbaland written communication skills in English
+ Experience usingMicrosoft Office suite
+ Mustbe 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license withlimited violations; must meet eligibility requirementsto participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program
+ Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship

+ Bachelor’sdegree in Business or Engineering
+ NICETLevel I or II Fire Alarm Certification or must complete certificationtesting within 2 years.
+ Experienceselling to electrical and general contractors and performing fire alarmdesign services with electrical/fire protection engineers
+ Proficiency withSalesforce CRM

The pay range for this position is $61,547 – $105,509
annually plus an uncapped sales incentive structure. The actual wage
offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience,
knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
