Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products (SI EP) division bridges the physical and digital worlds for energy systems, buildings, and industries, while enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability to improve the ways people live and work. Our portfolio of power distribution and power management solutions enables customers to safely convert large blocks of electrical power into smaller, usable units, while providing tools to monitor, control, and optimize energy usage.
**We are looking for rising engineering graduates to join the SI EP Engineering Leadership Development Program, a two-year journey featuring four six-month rotational assignments across multiple Siemens SI EP sites and engineering functions. Potential rotation locations include Peachtree Corners, GA; Tucker, GA; and Grand Prairie, TX. This program begins in early January 2027.**
This program is designed to accelerate your growth and lay the groundwork for an impactful application engineering career at Siemens through hands-on experiences that build your technical expertise and industry knowledge, hone your leadership capabilities, cultivate your professional network across departments, and offer mentorship and exposure to senior leaders.
Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll transition into a targeted full-time role as a Components Application Engineer in Peachtree Corners, GA.
**You’ll** ** make an impact by:**
+ Participating in four, six-month rotational assignments across key application engineering functions such as manufacturing, R&D, product management, and business development
+ Developing and enhancing innovative products, technologies, and applications for low-voltage controls and power distribution systems
+ Contributing new ideas and tackling complex engineering challenges through creative problem-solving, discovering the most effective and efficient solutions
+ Collaborating across different teams and business areas, leveraging cross-functional perspectives and shared expertise to achieve project objectives and drive business results
**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, completed within one academic year of the program’s start date
+ Available to start full-time employment in early January 2027
+ Growth mindset, learning agility, and enthusiasm for developing new skills and interdisciplinary experiences
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey strategic and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences – from colleagues to customers
+ Demonstrated leadership potential and collaboration through experiences or activities that showcase initiative, responsibility, teamwork, and willingness to support peers
+ Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, current probes, signal generators, or data acquisition systems
+ Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues
+ Ability to make data-driven decisions and derive evidence-based results
+ Must be willing and able to relocate domestically and/or internationally for each rotation and travel as required by the program (relocation assistance is provided if relocating more than 50 miles from your permanent address)
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with technology or concepts related to electrical power distribution/power management, energy systems, or the smart grid
+ Experience with root cause analysis and other problem-solving frameworks
+ Familiarity with controls and communication technologies, such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or automation systems
+ Preferred GPA: 3.0 or higher
