The Senior Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:• Conducting service, repair and/or installation of Mass Spectrometry and HPLC instruments in accordance with service protocols.• Diagnosing system failures and determines most effective solution.• Escalating complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. • Responding to customer support calls within the assigned territory.
This position reports to the Service Manager, Hyderabad and is part of the Field Technical Service located in Hyderabad & will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:• Complete and successfully pass assigned training for relevant products and responsibilities.• Deliver high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance services for mass spectrometry instruments, including escalation support.• Manage critical service calls with a strong customer-centric approach.
The essential requirements of the job include• MSc or BE in Electronics or Instrumentation, with specialization in Analytical Instrumentation.• 10+ years of relevant experience in the life sciences or a related industry.• Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation service, particularly mass spectrometry & additional experience in HPLC
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role• Ability and willingness to travel, overnight /outstation calls with short notice, if required.• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:• Complex Analytical instrumentation techniques
