**Job Purpose**
+ Deliver high-quality scientific engagement and generate actionable insights to strengthen brand strategy.
+ Lead strategic medical projects, including evidence generation, medical events, and publications.
+ Contribute to MSL team capability development through mentoring, coaching, and role-model leadership.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and maintain high-quality scientific relationships with scientific experts and conduct effective scientific exchange aligned with brand strategy.
+ Generate high-value field insights and translate them into actionable recommendations to strengthen strategy.
+ Lead strategic medical projects and scientific programs through effective cross-functional collaboration.
+ Mentor and coach fellow MSLs, contributing to MSL capability development and team effectiveness.
+ Role-model Amgen Values and Leadership Attributes and ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
+ Identify and support research and evidence-generation opportunities, including investigator-sponsored studies and Amgen-sponsored trials.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Master’s degree in life-science or relevant area, equivalent education history.
+ Relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or related pharmaceutical functions.
+ Strong communication skills with scientific experts and internal stakeholders.
+ Fluent in Japanese and English.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, or PharmD) preferred.
+ Strong scientific expertise and experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
+ Strong mentoring and coaching skills with demonstrated leadership.
+ Ability to work independently and lead effectively across cross-functional teams.
