We are Siemens Mobility Customer Services! Due to the amount of work, we have in the booming transportation industry, we have a position for an Electrical Engineering co-op in our organization. Our group is responsible for the engineering of modifications, modernizations and upgrades for all of our trains and other rail vehicles.

Siemens Customer Service is seeking a Co-Op student in Electrical Engineering. This position will gain exciting real-world engineering experience at a thriving company.

We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative.

**What your day-to-day will look like:**

+ Document electrical modifications related to the overhaul of rail vehicles

+ Review vehicle schematics to assist in root cause analysis of issues

+ Create schematics for train subsystems and bench test equipment

+ Assist in rail vehicle modification electrical designs

+ Support in the technical bid of maintenance and overhaul projects

+ Prior internships or technical work in your major area

**Who Should Apply?**

+ Education/Majors: Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in Electrical Engineering with a strong technical or analytical aptitude

+ Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United Staes without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

+ Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred)

+ Strong analytical, writing. presentation, and critical-thinking skills

+ Industry knowledge and/or interest

Candidates should be willing to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable.
