The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembly and testing of Last Chance Filter elements using engineering drawings and job packets. You will be expected to follow company safety guidelines. You will be responsible for the quality of your own work and for meeting and recording productivity targets. Local training will be provided. At Pall Redruth we strive to continuously improve through use of DBS tools and Kaizen. The roll will offer opportunities for the right people to grow within the company – our plant manager started here as an apprentice.

This position is part of the Cabin Air and will be located in Redruth plant

In this role, you will have the opportunity to…

+ Operate equipment in a continuous production/processing operation while monitoring meters, gauges and other associated tools to ensure adherence to production/process specifications

+ Follow engineering drawings, SOPs and similar procedures

+ Troubleshoot and assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies and assemblies using miscellaneous tools

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ High levels of dexterity, coupled with excellent practical skills,

+ Ability to read & understand engineering drawings and focus for periods of time on work in hand

+ Ability to operate equipment in a continuous production/processing operation

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Manufacturing processes, preferably having worked in a production environment previously

+ Undertaking rotating shift work patterns
