The **Automation StrategicAccount Manager** supports our Siemens Buildings Solution Partner team to
drive new partner growth and increase market share. The Automation Strategic
Account Managers analyze market opportunities, develop, and implement
strategies to optimize and increase revenue growth, and own the prospect and
sales pipeline from first contact until contract execution. This person will
craft and personalize a business plan to find, develop, and close new
businesses with a strong focus on verticalization. Your job is to ensure that
the business grows by bringing in new clients and generating revenue by using a
technical operations team and/or collaborating with Regional Territory Managers.
You will be responsible for driving business initiatives and have insight into
the leadership outlook. This remote position will report directly to the Sr.
National Sales Manager and work closely with our Comfort Territory Managers
(TMs). This position will also collaborate closely with the Product Management
team on product demonstrations, roadshows, and industry events.

+ Demonstrating a strongunderstanding of the customer’s business. Identify where Siemens can makevaluable contributions through our technology and solutions

+ Penetrating new markets oraccounts, identify, and develop relationships with the key decision makers(C-level), uncover new business opportunities, recommend differentiatedsolutions, negotiate, and win new customers

+ Finding opportunities forreplacing competitive solutions with Siemens solutions, qualify theopportunities, progress, and close

+ Effectively leveraging internalSiemens resources to increase win rate

+ Representing Siemens with ourcustomers in a responsive, professional, proactive, and ethical mannerthat reflects well on our company and core values

+ Engaging at multiple levels withtarget customers

+ Coordinating customer-facing andinternal efforts to produce winning value propositions and proposals thatwin new customers and achieve or exceed business goals

+ Demonstrating best-in-classsales methodology to maximize sales potential

+ Placing strong emphasis ondisciplined usage of our Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM)and accurate weekly forecasting, monthly pipeline reviews, and quarterlyplan

+ Maintaining a funnel of verticalmarket prospects to add Siemens automation solutions and products,optimizing current market conditions

+ Assisting in developing androlling out programs for the 3rd party solution partner channel

**You’llwin us over by having the following qualifications** :

Basic
Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of industry experiencewithin the building technologies industry

+ Demonstrate a track record oftaking a new account, breaking in at upper-level management levels, andcreating a pipeline of opportunities

+ Excellent communication skillsand relationship-building skills, at all levels of the organization

+ Previous success withidentifying market trends and needs to ensure ongoing competitiveness

+ Must possess a valid driver’slicense in good standing

+ Must be willing to travel 60%

+ Legally authorized to work inthe United States on a continual and permanent basis without companysponsorship

Preferred
Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business orEngineering

+ 10+ years of industry experiencewithin the building technologies industry

+ Proven effectiveness in a highlymatrixed environment

+ Proven ability to meet or exceedtargets in a complex sales environment

+ Polished professional withexcellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonalskills

+ Familiarity with Siemens BPportfolio and solutions a plus

+ Thorough knowledge of marketpenetration strategies and market development strategies

+ Track record of developing,executing, and achieving tactical and strategic initiatives through activeleadership that positively impact business plans, operating profits,practices, policies, and procedures

+ Excellent communication skillsand relationship-building skills, at all levels of the organization

+ Previous success withidentifying market trends and needs to ensure ongoing competitiveness
