Together, let’s shape the future of discovery and advance human health for generations to come.About the RoleWe are seeking a Business Development Manager – Life Sciences for the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, responsible for driving growth across the Research, Academia, Biopharma, and Pharma segments. This role is pivotal in strengthening our market presence, shaping scientific partnerships, and capturing strategic opportunities across the region.Working closely with our Channel Partners and the Regional Channel Partner Manager, you will be the primary commercial driver in the West, while also directly leading one of the country’s most strategic accounts: KAUST.This position reports into the MENA Channel Partner & Business Development Manager and is part of our high-performing MENA Sales organization. The role is based in Jeddah with remote coverage of the Western Region.In This Role, You Will Have the Opportunity To:Strategic Growth & Market Expansion• Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand market share across Research, Academia, and Biopharma/Pharma segments• Identify new market opportunities, emerging scientific trends, and unmet customer needs• Co-create and execute joint business initiatives with Channel Partners• Work closely with the Regional Channel Partner Manager to support and close strategic deals• Represent Beckman Coulter Life Sciences at scientific congresses, industry events, and institutional engagementsKey Account Leadership: KAUST• Act as the primary strategic lead for KAUST, managing senior-level relationships and long-term partnership growth• Understand the account’s research priorities, funding mechanisms, and scientific challenges to deliver tailored solutions• Manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring high-quality pipeline management• Deliver impactful presentations and proposals aligned with research and operational needs• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and strong forecasting disciplineCritical Requirements for the Role• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Immunology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, etc.); Master’s or PhD is an advantage• 5+ years’ proven success in Business Development, Sales, or Key Account Management within Research, Academia, Biopharma/Pharma• Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets• Experience working through Channel Partners and regional sales ecosystems• Strong experience managing strategic or complex key accounts• Deep understanding of the scientific research lifecycle, institutional purchasing processes, and funding dynamics• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office• fluent in Arabic and EnglishTravel & Operational Requirements• Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia and occasionally internationally• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a strong driving recordPreferred Qualifications• Prior experience with Life Sciences technologies such as Automation, Genomics, Flow Cytometry, Particle Counting & Characterization, and Centrifugation• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and external stakeholders• A high-performing team player who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environmentWhy Join Beckman Coulter Life Sciences?At Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, we design careers that evolve with you.
