**Transform the everyday with us**
We are looking for a Buyer to support our Manufacturing Facility in Grand Prairie, TX.
Our growing manufacturing facility produces high-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment. Our processes include material handling, metal fabrication, painting, final assembly, and test.
**You’ll make a difference by:**
+ Leads MRP via SAP and placed Purchase Orders with internal and external vendors
+ Reviews SAP master data including minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records and provide forecasting as needed, etc.
+ Evaluates the current supply chain and improves it by working with our corporate resources
+ Analyzes large amount of data to develop sourcing strategies by component and supplier.
+ Responsible for meeting the inventory targets, delivery reliability and cost saving initiatives for the site.
+ GRIR (good receipts/invoice receipts) discrepancies and late purchase order processing.
+ Works closely with production, planning and customer service to fulfill the customer requirements.
**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ BS/BA preferred but will consider candidates with experience in lieu of a degree. If degree is in process will be considered too
+ 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment in a buyer role.
+ Experience in fast paced business!
+ Hands-on knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Office
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Lean Manufacturing experience
+ Microsoft Access
+ Excel Macros
+ APICS CSCP and/or CPIM
