Within this environment, the Outpatient Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across outpatient settings.
The *Clinical Nurse* within the *Diagnostic Imaging Dept* is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care across the continuum, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes. The Outpatient Clinical Nurse collaborates with an inter-professional team, advocates for patients and families, and ensures efficient use of resources. The Outpatient Clinical Nurse also leads care coordination efforts, prioritizes team workflows, and supports staff development to optimize patient outcomes.
The *ideal candidate* has a Bachelor degree in nursing, holds an active Texas RN license with BLS or CPR certification, and brings at least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, along with preferred advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialty credentials.
*Shift / Hours: 10-hour shifts / 40-hour work week / 1230 – 2300 / Weekends & Holidays / On-Call, which includes Houston Area locations as needed *

*EDUCATION*
* Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
* Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree Nursing.
*WORK EXPERIENCE*
* Required: One year of clinical setting experience.

* Required: RN – Registered Nurse – State Licensure Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license. Upon Hire and

*OTHER REQUIREMENTS: *All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
