**Position Summary**

The Pueblo Plant Controller is responsible for leading the financial operations of the Pueblo manufacturing plant, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, effective planning, and business partnership with plant leadership. This role supports operational performance through budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory controls, variance analysis, and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

The Plant Controller serves as a key member of the plant leadership team and helps drive operational excellence, productivity, and informed decision-making across the site.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Lead all plant finance and accounting activities for the Pueblo facility.

+ Partner with plant leadership to support business performance, cost management, and strategic planning.

+ Prepare and manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial outlooks.

+ Analyze manufacturing results, including labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, and productivity trends.

+ Deliver timely and accurate month-end closing, reporting, and financial analysis.

+ Review and explain manufacturing variances, including purchase price, production, labor, and absorption variances.

+ Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and applicable financial reporting requirements.

+ Support capital planning, capital expenditure tracking, and post-investment analysis.

+ Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting for plant and functional leaders.

+ Supervise and develop plant finance staff, if applicable.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.

+ Experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant controllership.

+ Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and variance analysis.

+ Experience with inventory accounting and internal controls.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.

+ Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:**

$113,600.00 – $204,609.99
