The Danaher Business System (DBS) leader for Diagnostics Platform, India region is responsible for bringing Danaher’s continuous improvement system, DBS to life and optimizing sustained operational performance across commercial functions by implementation of Danaher Business System tools, methods, and philosophies.

This position is part of the India team and will be based in Bangalore. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

This position reports to the General Manager, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, India and is a part of the Diagnostics group at the Danaher Corporation. He/ She will be responsible for leading all DBS initiatives across Diagnostics operating companies within the India region in a growth oriented, cost-effective, financially aware, high quality and safe manner and developing long term commercial operational strategies, working closely with senior management to meet company objectives to drive efficiencies, yield optimal productivity and performance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1) Drive, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional teams from a DBS perspective, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement and drive the effective implementation and consistent application of DBS principles in India.2) Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure the commercial team possesses the requisite skills and capabilities to execute DBS tools across functions in India consistently.3) Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team (LT) to identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to developing commercial strategies and provide support to the organization in improving commercial performance metrics, such as growth, profitability, menu expansion, customer satisfaction and productivity.4) Lead and organize Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement, ensuring a robust pipeline of improvement initiatives contributing to ongoing productivity enhancement, with a direct link to Policy Deployment (PD).5) Provide / promote comprehensive DBS training programs for Associates in India, ensuring skill development and proficiency in relevant areas.6) Support improvement of baseline performance relative to growth, profitability, productivity, and responsiveness by delivering business results and promote the sharing of best practices across functions in Beckman Coulter.7) Drive consistency in meeting or exceeding Improvement Targets by using DBS principles and Lead Conversion methods and practices.

Experience required:

15+ years of experience in driving operational excellence preferably in healthcare domainBachelor’s degree with master’s degree in business with 5+ years exp.Experience in commercial rolesCommercial competence & SkillsAbility to create and enforce process discipline, deliver results and drive changeAbility to effectively and seamlessly work in cross-functional teams.Proficient in Excel, and PowerPoint. Has good presentation skillsStrong written and oral communication skills for direct communication with customers, co-workers, and partners at all levels, all functions, and all regions of the organization.Proven track record of being able to work under time pressure and in a lean organization.

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays across the global landscape to attend internal and customer-facing meetings.
