The Director of Strategic Marketing, Life Sciences Innovation Group (LSIG) plays a pivotal role in unifying LSIG OpCo organizations under a common vision of accelerating drug development process by driving innovation and showcasing the collective impact of Danaher Life Science solutions in the Biopharmaceutical industry.Requirements for this position:
The ideal candidate for the role of Director should possess experience driving marketing efforts across operating companies and product areas, exhibiting deep project management and marketing campaign execution skills. This individual should have hands-on experience deploying digital tactics and successfully exhibiting at global customer events. The candidate should showcase a demonstrated ability to foster connections across diverse organizations, and manage complex, matrixed projects and teams. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for fostering collaboration across Danaher Operating Company Business Unit and Marketing Groups, while simultaneously building strong internal and external relationships. Furthermore, leadership and an inclusive proactive approach are key requirements.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of marketing personnel in solid and dotted-line reporting relationships responsible for executing the LSIG strategy, with a focus on campaign delivery, marketing content generation, and tradeshow execution.
+ Develop marketing content and execute comprehensive nurture campaigns that align with the LSIG goals and objectives to showcase the impact of Cross-OpCo Life Science solutions. Generate traceable leads and funnel opportunities.
+ Ensure marketing efforts and workflow stories resonate with the target audience and effectively communicate the LSIG value proposition.
+ Cultivate strong relationships with Marketing organizations of the LSIG Opcos to create followership and support for the platform. Act as a communication liaison between demand generation arms in the Life Sciences Operating Companies and the LSIG, foster workflow collaboration and facilitate campaign deployment. Establish a framework for ongoing collaboration and communication to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
+ Coordinate successful Tier 1 tradeshows to maximize the Danaher brand presence and generate leads. Drive coordinated promotional campaigns for tradeshows with Life Science Operating Companies. Serve as the scientific lead for Tier 1 conferences.
+ Collaborate with the LSIG’s Digital and Global Key Account Management teams for consistent brand execution and strategic alignment.
+ Determine metrics to measure marketing campaign, tradeshow, and Danaher Days effectiveness. Track and communicate KPIs and foster a collaborative culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence.
Education & Experience
+ MBA in marketing or health sciences, advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of product management or marketing experience, preferable for life sciences industry
+ Proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to successful execution of plans; ensure accountability, motivate people, and maximize impact/results.
+ Highly effective relationship building skills including one-on-one interpersonal networking; ability to communicate to and influence all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrated success in working in a matrixed environment. Ability to successfully navigate in a dynamic, fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.
+ Proven experience developing cross-product line and awareness of LS workflow content. And Demonstrated success in creating and deploying demand-generating marketing campaigns.
