**Position Summary**
The Entry-Level Quality Inspector supports the manufacturing of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment by performing inspections to ensure products meet internal quality standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications. This role provides hands-on training and is ideal for candidates beginning a career in quality within the EV and electrical manufacturing industry.
**Required Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ Ability to read and follow written work instructions
+ Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing or electrical assembly environment
+ Willingness to learn UL, DEKRA & TUV standards and inspection techniques
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Manufacturing, assembly, or inspection experience
+ Familiarity with electrical or electronic assemblies.
+ Exposure to UL, DEKRA & TUV or other safety standards.
+ 1+ years’ experience with inspection of electrical and mechanical components
**Physical and Work Environment Requirements**
+ Manufacturing/production environment
+ Use of PPE and ESD protection required
+ May require shift work and occasional overtime.
+ Ability to lift to 40-5 lbs. as needed
**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections of EV charger components, subassemblies, and finished products
+ Verify workmanship, wiring, labeling, grounding, and assembly meet company requirements
+ Inspect incoming materials, in-process builds, and final products according to documented procedures
+ Follow inspection plans, TUV, DEKTA &UL compliance procedures, and work instructions
+ Identify, document, and report defects or nonconformances
+ Accurately complete inspection and compliance records
+ Assist with containment and verification of nonconforming material
+ Ability to lift up to 40-5 lbs. as needed
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
+ Read and Work with Schematics Drawings / Mechanical Drawings and Sheet Metal Components.
+ Strong Communication skills in English, Both Verbal and written
**Tools and Equipment Used – Incoming Inspection**
+ Measurement & Dimensional Tools:
+ Vernier, digital, or dial calipers
+ Micrometers (as required)
+ Steel rulers and tape measures
+ Thread gauges
+ Multimeter (basic voltage, resistance, and continuity checks) Continuity testers
+ Torque wrenches or torque drivers
+ Inspection lighting and magnification tools
+ Reference samples and defect standards
+ Digital camera or tablet for documentation
+ Incoming inspection checklists and control plans.
