**Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator**
**Position Overview:**
Siemens Buildings is looking for an EHS Coordinator. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and supporting a broad range of environmental, health, and safety programs. Reporting to the EHS Manager, this role is hands-on and operationally focused, with responsibility for supporting daily EHS activities on the production floor. In this role, you will be the key point person for daily EHS activities, actively engaging with production teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, internal Siemens requirements, and ISO standards. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture by actively engaging with employees and managers, identifying hazards, investigating incidents and near misses, tracking corrective actions, and supporting environmental and safety compliance activities. This role is essential to promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring EHS compliance, protecting employees, and supporting operational and environmental excellence.
**As an EHS Coordinator, you will:**
+ Lead and oversee the effective implementation, execution, and continuous monitoring of EHS programs and initiatives to ensure effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
+ Provide immediate, day-to-day EHS support to production teams as the primary point of contact for safety questions and hazard identification.
+ Participate in and support internal and external ISO audits on the environmental and health and safety standards (ISO 14001 and 45001).
+ Conduct routine EHS inspections and audits on the production floor to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and identify compliance gaps; following the review, you will work closely with process owners to ensure timely completion and escalation of overdue actions.
+ Manage the EHS committees and safety meetings, ensuring action items are tracked and key safety information is communicated across all shifts.
+ Develop and deliver EHS training programs that enhance awareness, accountability, and long-term knowledge retention.
+ Lead root cause analyses and develop, implement, and track corrective and preventive action plans for audit findings, incidents, and identified EHS risks.
+ Oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process by working cross-functionally to review changes to processes, equipment, materials, or layouts – ensuring EHS risks are identified and mitigated.
+ Manage environmental compliance activities, including waste management, chemical management, spill prevention, and environmental impact considerations.
+ Monitor, track and report on EHS metrics and providing reviewing the data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
+ Promote a culture of ownership by empowering floor employees to recognize hazards and actively participate in safety solution-building.
**What You will Need to Succeed:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, or related fields.
+ 5-10 years of experience in related field in a manufacturing environment.
+ Working knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
+ Experience supporting ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
+ Experience conducting EHS inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
+ Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and support corrective action development and tracking.
+ Experience developing and delivering EHS training.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on action items.
+ Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with employees and managers at all levels.
+ Available to work on-site, Monday through Friday.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Certified Internal Auditor or similar EHS related certification
+ Advanced proficiency in computer software and data analysis tools.
+ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability through collaboration.

The pay range for this position is $82,538 – $141,494. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on the budget and the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
