The Facilities and Office Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the facilities, security, and operational integrity of our manufacturing site . This role ensures that all facility-related initiatives are executed in compliance with Cytiva’s global policies, local regulations, and safety standards.

This position reports to the Director, Operations & Site Leader and is part of the Cytiva – Aseptic Filling Operations team located i n Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada . This role is an on-site position .

What you will do:

+ Schedule, coordinate, and oversee contractor activities related to facilities and office operations, including maintenance and repairs, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Support and coordinate site initiatives related to environmental health & safety (EHS), site security, sustainability programs, and employee engagement activities, including social events.

+ Manage and maintain site security systems and protocols to safeguard personnel, facilities, and assets, ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting a secure work environment.

+ Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize facility and office processes and systems, driving increased efficiency, reliability, and c ompliance.

+ Champion sustainability initiatives and promote improved ways of working to reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact.

Who you are:  

+ High school diploma, supplemented by either project management experience, trades training, and/or relevant technical certifications.

+ Customer ‑ focused, with strong organizational, time ‑ management, and communication skills.

+ Demonstrates a strong safety mindset with a proactive approach to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and practices.

Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:  

+ Ability to lift, move or carry items weighing 15-25 lbs occasionally and perform routine maintenance tasks using hand tools  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:  

+ Building maintenance related training and/or certification   

+ Forklift and scissor lift certification  

The salary range for this role is $ 70 ,000 – $85,000 CAD . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
