The Fast Trak Scientist is responsible for executing Process development projects across various application areas and providing technical solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
This position reports to the Fast Trak PDS and Global Training Director and is part of the Process Design and Validation Services Organization located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
+ Independently execute Process development projects across various application areas (mAbs, vaccines, recombinant proteins, pDNA, mRNA, Peptides, Oligonucleotides).
+ Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes.
+ Apply advanced purification techniques including Affinity, Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Ion Exchange Chromatography (IEX), and mixed-mode chromatography.
+ Perform and interpret analytical techniques such as charge & size variant analysis, glycan profiling, capillary electrophoresis, PCR, and Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR).
+ Design & optimize analytical methods to support biopharmaceutical development. Utilize advanced statistical tools and techniques for data interpretation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
+ Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and ELN with quality standards
Who you are
+ Master’s or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline with 8–10 years of relevant industry experience
+ Proven expertise in purification techniques (Affinity, SEC, IEX, mixed-mode chromatography).
+ Strong hands-on experience with analytical methods including RP-HPLC, IEX-HPLC, HILIC-HPLC, Capillary electrophoresis, PCR, and SPR
+ Proficiency in statistical tools (e.g., Design of Experiments)
+ Ability to work independently and deliver complex projects with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
