In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with low- and medium‑voltage power distribution equipment—supporting installation, testing, commissioning, start‑up, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits and system components.

+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear and associated systems.

+ Analyze test results and assess equipment condition.

+ Provide on-site and remote technical support, including customer training as needed.

+ Support multiple EA projects across the U.S., including new installations and modernization work.

+ Participate in emergency and relief assignments when required.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA safety practices and all applicable safety guidelines.

**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 4+ years of directly related equipment experience (flexible depending on overall experience).

+ Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, including low- and medium‑voltage switchgear.

+ Experience with breakers or high‑voltage equipment testing and interpreting test data.

+ Hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with electrical control circuits.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

+ Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and ability to work safely in field environments.

+ Must reside in the Chicago to Milwaukee (Lake Michigan) corridor to support regional EA business needs.

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ 3–5 years of field service experience.

+ Experience with protection and control relays.

+ Experience with project management software.

+ Knowledge of high‑voltage circuit breakers, including SF6 gas breakers.

+ Certifications such as NETA, NICET, MSHA 46/48, OSHA 30, or NFPA 70E.

+ TWIC Card

**What Makes This Role Unique:**

+ A highly technical, hands‑on position where you’ll work with critical power systems across diverse industrial environments.

+ Significant autonomy in the field while being supported by a strong technical team.

+ Exposure to complex commissioning projects that build deep electrical expertise.

+ Opportunities to see a wide range of customer applications, equipment, and technologies.

+ Potential to grow into advanced commissioning, relay protection, or technical specialist roles.
