We are looking for an Inventory Specialist in South Africa with strong Oracle ERP experience to support accurate inventory control, warehouse operations, instrument order processing, and continuous improvement across our distribution processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, comfortable working with inventory systems, and passionate about ensuring operational accuracy in a healthcare and diagnostics environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Inventory Specialist – Oracle ERP & Inventory Control will be responsible for:
+ Performing daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, lot control, stock accuracy checks, and bin allocation.
+ Using Oracle ERP to support inventory transactions, stock movements, order processing, and inventory reporting.
+ Managing the scrapping process for non-conforming, damaged, or expired goods, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal procedures.
+ Supporting instrument order processing, including both inbound and outbound activities.
+ Assisting with administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, dispatching, and distribution.
+ Ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates for inventory, warehouse, and distribution activities.
+ Actively participating in process improvement projects, supporting better workflow, accuracy, efficiency, and standard work.
+ Supporting ad-hoc distribution, warehouse, and logistics tasks as required by the business.
