The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
**We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Roebuck, SC.**
This role supports the manufacturing facility by maintaining production equipment, including electroplating and waste treatment processes, to ensure customer demand is met. Responsibilities include repairing, performing preventive maintenance, and monitoring mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
**Shift Hours:** 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
**Hourly Rate:** $37.20 +$1.25 Shift Differential
**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications** :
+ Two-year degree in technical field, i.e., Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering Science or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance
+ Test equipment operation to include: DMM, oscilloscope
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer – sponsored work authorization _._
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 2 years Industrial manufacturing experience
+ Siemens PLC, Siemens TIA portal
+ ABB robotic experience
+ Welding/cutting skills
+ Electroplating, waste treatment system support
+ Computer proficiency, i.e., networking protocols, Microsoft Office, SAP
**You’ll make impact by:**
+ Effectively utilize electrical/mechanical schematics, technical documentation for efficient troubleshooting methods.
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance duties in accordance with assignments.
+ Make recommendations for spare part inventory levels based on experience and knowledge of equipment, work order history, and service experience.
+ Work closely with team members to complete group projects and repairs as needed
+ Communicate with various coworkers, departments, and management personnel in professional, effective manner
+ Work with team members in professional nature to maintain positive, safe, and professional work environment for all shifts.
+ Upkeep maintenance records (e.g. issued tools, CMMS, event logs, work requests etc).
+ Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems for CNC/PLC, hydraulic/pneumatic equipment using technical and practical knowledge.
+ Conduct all actions in safe manner in accordance with company/local/government safety requirements.
