Transform the every day with us Siemens Industry is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Professional to oversee and manage our in-house manufacturing engineering workshop. The ideal candidate will maintain operational excellence, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting the production of manufacturing aids and maintaining equipment. You will make an impact by: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing engineering workshop Implement and maintain 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) standards throughout the facility Develop and document best practices for workshop operations and equipment usage Provide comprehensive training to staff on proper equipment operation and safety protocols Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and maintain detailed maintenance records Design and produce manufacturing aids to enhance workplace productivity, safety, and quality Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and materials You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of machine shop or similar manufacturing environment experienceProven experience operating various manufacturing equipment (lathes, mills, drills, etc.)Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and methodologies and experience implementing and maintaining 6S standardsExcellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
