**We are looking for a Quality Engineer. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie systems facility.**
**You’ll make an impact by:**
+ Driving quality control and assurance in our assembly and manufacturing process.
+ Drive cross functional teams to improve Cost of Quality, FPY and Warranty costs.
+ Develop and improve FMEA and control plans for manufacturing processes.
+ Improve customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and improving product quality.
+ Implement tools and controls to improve First pass yield.
+ Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues with cross functional teams.
+ Support production in making quality-related decisions and recommendations.
+ Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design and manufacturability.
+ Accountable for First Pass Yield, Scrap and warranty costs for manufacturing line.
**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
+ 2+ years of experience in leading cross functional team in a production environment
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
+ Knowledge of QMS, CAPA and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45000.
+ Training and demonstrated success in FMEA, DoE and applying problem solving methods.
+ Good organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ SAP Knowledge
+ Six Sigma and ASQ Certification preferred. Black belt is a plus.
+ Knowledge of Minitab, JMP or other statistical software.
+ Knowledge of UL standards for switchboards and panels.
