The Marketing Manager Diagnostics is responsible for leading our Clinical Chemistry/Immunoassay (CC/IA), Automation and Hematology product portfolios. This leader will shape marketing strategy, drive product positioning, and enable commercial excellence across the cluster. The role manages and develops two Marketing Product Managers, providing mentorship, direction, and strategic alignment while partnering closely with Sales, Service, and Regional/Global Marketing.
This position reports to the General Manager DACH Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and is part of the Commercial Sales Leadership Team located in Germany and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Lead and Develop Team: Manage, coach, and grow two Marketing Product Managers (CC/IA and Hematology), ensuring effective execution of strategies and talent development.
+ Strategic Marketing Leadership: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and value propositions for the CC/IA and Hematology portfolios across the cluster.
+ Market & Customer Insights: Translate customer needs, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics into actionable marketing plans and campaigns.
+ Commercial Enablement: Partner with Sales and Service leadership to provide impactful tools, training, and messaging that support funnel growth and win rate improvement.
+ Portfolio Management: Collaborate with Regional and Global Marketing to influence product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Align with Clinical, Service, Finance, and Regulatory functions to ensure compliant and customer-centric execution.
+ Performance Management: Track, measure, and report marketing initiatives’ impact on revenue, market share, and installed base growth.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ 7+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or commercial roles within the diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare industry.
+ Proven leadership experience managing direct reports or cross-functional teams.
+ Strong understanding of in-vitro diagnostics market dynamics, preferably in CC/IA, Automation and/or Hematology.
+ Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused value propositions.
+ Track record of driving results through collaboration with commercial organizations.
+ Fluency in German and English required, excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
