The Mechanical Team Leader (m/f/d) is responsible for Designs and analyses mechanical static equipment and leads a team of design engineers to deliver engineering projects and tasks in accordance with Pall’s product and project execution processes. Ensures all engineering deliverables meet defined targets for cost, quality, and delivery. Collaborates closely with engineering managers, project teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve departmental and business objectives.

This position reports to the Vessel Engineering Manager and is part of the Energy+ Global Process Engineering located in Warsaw and will be an on-site role to cover a team of engineers based in Europe, America and the Middle East supporting key engineered to order projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with advanced professional learning and equivalent industry experience.

+ Solid relevant engineering experience in the design and development of pressure vessels and filtration equipment, with demonstrated application of established engineering principles to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

+ Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects and coordinating the work of engineers, including responsibility for task allocation, technical guidance, coaching, and delivery against agreed technical, cost, and schedule objectives.

+ Advanced knowledge of pressure vessel design principles with practical experience working to international codes and standards, including ASME, PED, ISO, or equivalent.

+ Proven ability to execute detailed engineering design work while managing multiple engineering activities concurrently, including support of quotation and bid processes, identification of technical and schedule risks, and driving delivery to agreed cost, quality, and schedule commitments.

+ Strong capability in developing, reviewing, and approving engineering designs and technical documentation for filtration and pressure vessel products, including specifications, calculations, and testing requirements, with demonstrated understanding of product data management and traceability from concept through release and sustaining engineering.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in cross‑functional and multicultural environments and to engage constructively with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on complex technical matters.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with advanced professional learning and equivalent industry experience

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience in the design and development of pressure vessels and filtration equipment, with strong knowledge of ASME Codes, PED, and applicable international standards, and the application of established engineering principles to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

+ Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects and coordinating the work of engineers, including responsibility for task allocation, technical guidance, coaching, and delivery against agreed objectives.

+ Advanced knowledge of pressure vessel design principles and practical experience working to international design standards (e.g. ASME, ISO, PED or equivalent).

+ Demonstrated ability to execute detailed engineering design work while simultaneously managing multiple engineering activities, supporting quotation and bid processes, identifying technical and schedule risks, and driving delivery to agreed cost, quality, and schedule objectives

+ Strong capability in developing, reviewing, and approving engineering designs and technical documentation for filtration and pressure vessel products, including specifications, calculations, and testing requirements. Demonstrated understanding of product data management, and traceability to support effective management from concept through release and sustaining engineering.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in cross‑functional and multicultural environments and to engage constructively with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on technical matters.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

Occasional travel (estimated up to 20%) may be required based on project needs, business meetings, or operational support requirements. Where applicable, the role requires a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Prior experience (2–5 years) in handling or leading engineering teams.

+ Prior experience (2–3 years) in the filtration or filter industry.
